Conditions of Use

The following terms and conditions established under the General Contract Conditions (“the General Conditions”) are applicable to the sale of all the products and services supplied through the website sofacoversjm.co.uk.

Therefore, the use by the customer of the services of the web sofacoversjm.co.uk presupposes, in every instance, the adherence by the customer to the General Contract Conditions in the version published by Venta Online Domainet 2008, S.L. as owner of the web sofacoversjm.co.uk, at the time the customer places an online purchase. Therefore, it is advisable that the customer reads carefully said General Conditions before placing an order.

Domainet reserves the right to modify the contractual offer constituted by these general conditions and the list of products and prices, at any time, although the said changes will not affect the orders already placed by the customer.

I.- Identification and activity of the sofacoversjm.co.uk

II.- How to make a purchase

The customer must add the items he/she wishes to purchase to the shopping basket. Once he/she has read and accepted the General Conditions, the order form (completed in accordance with the model supplied) is submitted online. The contract is understood to take place at Domainet´s registered address.

The customers will be able to identify and correct errors in the data, the details of the order will appear on the screen, if they are correct, press “Submit the order”, on the contrary, go back and modify any errors.

III.- Prices

The applicable prices are those stated in the web sofacoversjm.co.uk at the time of the order and only applicable in the United Kingdom. Please request prices for other countries.
The prices for each product include V.A.T. (at the Spanish rates).

IV.- Delivery area

We can send our products anywhere within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. For any other country, please ask for delivery prices.

V.- Delivery charges

The delivery within the United Kingdom is done by fast parcel service, and the different modalities are described in the follwing link : shipping modalities. For deliveries outside the United Kingdom please request delivery prices.

VI.- Methods of payment

All your purchases can be made using VISA, VISA ELECTRÓN, SERVIRED, RED 6000, EUROCARD, MASTERCARD.

You may also use PayPal payment system. Another method of payment is by bank transfer, a more traditional but equally reliable system.

Domainet does not require payment in advance. Therefore, the customer may pay by credit card which involves an automatic debit.

Furthermore, if the purchase has been confirmed, the customer may contact Domainet through their electronic mail and provide the following information in order to cancel the order:

Name of the purchaser
Date of the purchase
Email of the person who made the purchase
Order number

The order shall be cancelled as soon as the message is received, as long as the goods have not yet been dispatched.

VII.- Duties of the Vendor

As has been previously mentioned, the orders are dispatched by urgent parcel delivery service GIS and will arrive at the address indicated by the customer in a period of about 3 to 5 days from the date of confirmation of the order as long as the products are “immediately available”. If the products are not marked as being “immediately available” you may ask for estimated delivery times.

The order will be confirmed once the customer has sent Domainet the order form (the process is automatic, once the order is completed the customer will receive a copy of the order form) and Domainet has informed the customer by e-mail that the order has been approved once payment has been verified.

VIII.- Delivery

Delivery will be made to the address provided, which can be different to the customers residence, the goods can sent to the customer´s work address or to a third person as a gift. In any case the person who receives the goods must prove their identity by an official document and must sign the purchase invoice.

The delivery period is indicative only. Nevertheless, Domainet will endeavour to respect this period but will not accept responsibility for any delays. In the event that some of the goods or services ordered are not available, Domainet will communicate to the customer, through Customer Services, the delays due to the products being out of stock.

IX.- Return

The purchaser will have a period of 14 calendar days as from the receipt of the order to cancel the purchase contract without incurring penalties, with the exception of the delivery costs and the cost of receipt and return of each order. Any return, for whatever the reason, must be done in its original packaging and condition.

In the case of receipt of the returned goods in good condition but with the packaging (bag, photolitograph, cardboard, etc.) damaged, which makes it impossible to sell the product, we will discount from the amount of the return the expenses incurred in the new presentation of the product.

If the customer received a faulty product, a change will be made for the same product in good conditions. Our courier will collect the faulty cover and will deliver the good one with no cost for the customer. Please note that all our covers have been reviewed; if when you are trying to put your cover on you realize that it is too small, please do not force it, because we will not accept changes or returns of broken covers that have been forced. 

Procedure for requesting a return:

Send an email to contacto@fundasdesofa.com with the following information:

E-mail address used for your order.
Number and date of your order.
Name and price of purchased items.
Reason for return.

We will reply as soon as possible with the instructions for the return.

Once we receive the returned products and we verify their condition, we shall proceed to the refund of their value.

The refund will be made by the same method of payment as the purchase. In the case of a bank transfer, please supply your IBAN and BIC numbers

X.- Security and confidentiality

sofacoversjm.co.uk guarantees the safety and confidentiality of their communications with the customer.

All payments are made through a secure server, based on the standard SSL of 128 bits which guarantees the security and confidentiality of your data

XI.- Electronic document

The contract will be stored in an electronic document at Domainet´s address and will be accessible to our customers who can request it by sending an e-mail to contacto@fundasdesofa.com

XII.- Guarantee

sofacoversjm.co.uk guarantees its products under the terms legally established during a period of 2 years from the delivery date. Notwithstanding we must emphasise that, according to the Law about the guarantee of goods included in the Amended Text of the General Act for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other complementary Acts mention is made that “the law is applicable to durable goods as well as perishable goods or food products although in this case the nature of the goods concerned limits or modifies its application”.

The guarantee excludes deficiencies due to negligence or misuse and normal wear and tear.

When the application of the guarantee is justified, we may repair, substitute the goods, refund or return, according to the legally established terms.

The guarantee will lose its validity in the following cases:

The purchase invoice is modified, altered or substituted.
If the guaranteed goods have been altered or repaired.
If there is no purchase invoice.
In order to benefit from the guarantee it is essential to present the purchase invoice.

The customer must inform the seller within a period of two months that he-she is not satisfied with the product.

The contract may only be written in English

XIV.- Legislation and conflict solving

These General Conditions are regulated by Spanish Law.

The parties are bound, as per their choice, to resolve any disputes and renouncing to any other forum to the tribunals and Law Courts at the domicile of the customer.
